Our FAQ
How do I bid on an auction item in one of your timed auctions?
To bid on an item you need to register on our registration page within the easylive auction platform.
It's very self-explanatory and it gives you the added benefit of being able to bid in other auctions and be kept up-to-date with forthcoming events etc.
Please click the link below and choose the 'Register to Bid' button.
How do I view the catalogue for a timed auction?
The catalogue will only be available near to, or from the start date of the next auction. Top Floor Auctions use the easyliveauction platform to run the online auction. To view the catalogue please click the link below and select 'view catalogue'
Sellers
Bring your items to the front desk of the centre for a FREE appraisal and to enter your items into the auction.
You will be given a receipt for your item and an estimated auction value. Your item might receive that estimate or could indeed do better. The benefit of Top Floor Auctions running an online auction is that your item will get a better reach and hopefully attract more bids.
What are the charges/fees?
There is a buyers & sellers premium of 18% of the hammer price.
This amount will be deducted/added to your final payment or invoice document.
For sellers there is a £3 lotting fee for each item to be entered into the auction.
Can I email a picture to you?
Yes you can. Please email a picture (or two) of your item to info@topfloorantiques.com and we will contact you to discuss.
Can I view items at any time?
No - we will be busy photographing, describing, cataloguing and preparing the auction. Specific viewing days will be made available at the centre, online and on our social media sites. But viewing will always be available to coincide with the auction start date.
